Dolody was a weekly, modular web publication. Each issue contained different modules specific to that issue's content. To begin the design, many grid structures were explored.
After the grid and module types were defined, several explorations were conducted on visual layout treatments. Each had strengths and weaknesses which were evaluated to determine the final design.
Weekly publications were originally introduced centuries ago. The final design stayed true to the aesthetics from those times. However, the content and digital backbone of Dolody provides a modern take on a classic content paradigm.
